EllieVoca Privacy Policy
EllieVoca values the privacy of its users and handles personal information as follows:
1. Items of Personal Information Collected
- This app does not collect any separate personal information.
- (If the user saves an API key) The API Key entered by the user is stored only in the local storage (Shared Preferences) of the device and is not transmitted to the developer's server.
2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information
- Collected data is used solely for the provision of app functions (vocabulary management).
3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
- EllieVoca does not provide user information to third parties.
4. Destruction of Personal Information
- Upon deletion of the app, all data stored within the device (vocabulary lists and API keys) is immediately deleted.
5. Data Sharing with Third-Party AI Services
- EllieVoca may transmit text data (words, sentences, documents, etc.) entered by the user to a third-party service provider (Google LLC, Gemini API) to provide Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based features such as AI wordbook generation and automatic word information completion.
- The transmitted data is collected and used solely for the purpose of generating the AI results requested by the user, and the user's data is NEVER used for AI model training purposes. Our partner (Google) provides and adheres to strict privacy protection standards that are equal to or higher than ours. We obtain explicit prior consent from the user when they use the feature for the first time within the app.
